About Fastech Marine Fabricating

Fastech was founded in 1997 by Brian Woods in order to fill the demand for customized high quality tops and accessories to the boating market. Since then, Fastech has grown and moved to a larger facility, offering our customers an even greater array of products and services.

We offer uncompromising quality in all of our products and services. In addition to superior aluminum and stainless work, our in-house facility now offers composite fiberglass hard tops, other fiberglass components and full custom canvas enclosures, allowing us to add the finishing touches to your new customized hard top. We also offer canvas to hard top conversions: if your boat has a canvas top, in some instances, we can convert your existing framework to a fiberglass hard top. For the "do-it-yourself" type, we also offer components such as fiberglass tops, control boxes, anodized pipe, and fittings.

Unlike most marine fabricators, Fastech uses a unique fabrication process. First, we create a customized drawing, which is then used to develop a blueprint. Using the customized drawing and the blueprint together allows us to create a precision view of the metal framework used to support the new top, as well as see how the curtain lines match up to the windshield. This allows us to create quality, leak-free enclosures. Next, we build the top in our facility, and upon completion, we install it on your boat. Turn-around time is quicker since we have all three aspects under one roof: metal, fiberglass, and canvas.

We are located on Route 3A in Plymouth, Massachusetts, approximately 2 miles from Exit 9 on Route 3, which makes it convenient to reach from either Boston (35 miles) or from the Cape (18 miles). To allow our customers even greater flexibility, we offer hydraulic boat hauling. If you visit by water, we are located just one mile from the state boat ramp.
